Role Overview: Team Leader Crew Support – Riga Support Office
We are now looking for a Team Leader Crew Support to join our growing support function in Riga. In this role, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day crew support activities that directly impact the crew experience and operational efficiency. You will coordinate key processes such as onboarding/offboarding, absence follow-up, administrative support, and crew communication – ensuring smooth, compliant, and professional service delivery.
You will work closely with departments such as HR, Planning, Operations, and Bases, and act as a point of contact for crew-related matters. The ideal candidate is with previous leadership experience, highly organized, service-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced and detail-driven environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Crew Support team and provide regular reports to the Director of Crew Support.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding support for crew members, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Oversee absence follow-up for crew, including registration, documentation management, reporting
- Control and approve invoices related to crew expenses such as parking, cleaning allowances, and taxi usage.
- Oversee the management of Observer and Commuter tickets, ensuring proper use and coordination.
- Oversee all aspects of uniform management and logistics, including inventory control, distribution, supplier coordination, and ensuring timely availability of uniforms in line with company standards and operational requirements.
- Act as a Zendesk agent, responding to crew queries and requests professionally and promptly (when required)
- Support the Director Crew Support in further developing and improving crew support functions
- Ensure smooth coordination across all support areas and proactively propose improvements that benefit the crew experience
Your Deliverables:
- Accurate and timely processing of crew administrative tasks and requests
- Clear documentation and reporting related to absences, crew expenses, and crew interactions
- Consistent application of processes and policies
- Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and alignment with broader operational goals
- Continuous improvement suggestions to streamline workflows and enhance crew satisfaction
What You Bring
You are a highly organized and proactive professional with hands-on experience in crew administration or operational support. With a solid background in aviation and a strong understanding of airline operations, you bring both strategic thinking and practical execution to the role.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in the aviation industry and/or flight operations
- Direct experience in crew administration or operational support
- Comfortable working with tools such as Excel, Zendesk, JIRA, NetLine, and applying AI tools for analysis and process improvement.
