The Technical Engineering Department is responsible for the operation and supervision of the maintenance of Icelandairs aircraft fleet. In Icelandairs technical service, a powerful team of specialists works to ensure that safety, reliability, and high-quality work practices are always at the forefront.

Icelandair is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. The position belongs to the Airline Services department within Technical Operations at Icelandair. 

In the role of a Technical Project Manager at Airline Services, the responsibility entails overseeing and managing CAMO projects with a focus on efficient airworthiness management and compliance. This role requires active coordination with clients, leadership of project teams, and the delivery of high-quality CAMO services. We are currently expanding our team and looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join us

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and ensure timely deliverables
  • Build strong client relationships, understand CAMO needs, and maintain clear communication
  • Prepare detailed project status reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficient CAMO services
  • Monitor project costs, identify savings opportunities, and recommend cost-efficient strategies

Qualifications:

  • Part 66 license or a Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Aviation experience, preferably within a Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization
  • Strong leadership and initiative
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Good English – both written and spoken
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
