Position Overview

The Manager of Training Support is directly responsible to the Director of Training for the overall operation and execution of the training departments needs assessment process and procedures while providing oversight and maintenance of HAECO Americas Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure training is properly documented and tracked for HAECO America operations.

Essential Job Duties

1. Effectively coordinates with the FAA and both internal and external customers to ensure proper needs analysis is met for training requirements.
2. Supervise assigned staff responsible for hiring employees, monitoring performance, administering disciplinary action to include separation of employment and resolution of employee-related issues.
3. Perform audits of the HAECO Training Program to ensure compliance with the HAECO Training Manual and all regulatory requirements.
4. Manage data input into the Learning Management system to ensure accurate training data/records are available to managers and technicians and to ensure compliance with HAECO’s training manual and Regulatory requirements.
5. Maintain the Needs Assessment process as defined HAECO’s Training Manual.
6. Ensure training courses and materials remain accurate and relevant for the needs of HAECO and customer training requirements. This includes participation in the annual review of HAECO’s training Program.
7. Evaluate and develop corrective/preventative actions for identified departmental deficiencies.
8. Serve in the capacity of Instructor as needed.
9. Serve as Chair of the Needs Assessment Review Board.
10. Use needs analysis tools and techniques to determine training plans based on business/customer needs.
11. Use Continuous Improvement (CI) Tools to develop innovative techniques that will improve the training process resulting in a better trained employee.
12. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic company and department initiatives.
13. Coordinate with customer training departments to ensure all required training is in place when needed.
14. Prepare monthly reporting metrics for the training department.
15. Work with confidential data and assure it is safeguarded to protect the privacy of HAECO employees.
16. Support the work of the GM in his/her absence.

What you need: (Requirements)

Minimum

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance in a technical capacity.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience instructing in a related field.
3. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.
4. Knowledge of course delivery, utilizing all approved methods in accordance with all applicable.     regulations and manuals.
5. Language (read, write, and understand English).
6. Must have strong computer skills for use with typical business software and equipment.
7. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally by driving and/or flying (10).

Preferred

1. Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
2. EASA B1 certificates
3. ATA 104 level III certificates
4. Ten (10) or more years instruction/teaching in relevant field
5. FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
