Role Summary
* In this role, you will lead the transition of design projects from prototype to full-scale high-speed manufacturing at the Camden site. You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to align manufacturing capabilities with program requirements and ensure operational excellence throughout the production lifecycle. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
* Must have a minimum of 16 years of related experience if no degree is held.
* Must be a U.S. citizen.
* Must have experience with manufacturing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
* Must have demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, including Lean principles, pull systems, one-piece flow, 5S/Visual Factory, Gemba, and root cause analysis (RCA).
* Must have knowledge of MRP/MES systems, manufacturing labor standards, and Earned Value Management or EAC analysis.
* Must have understanding of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and QMS compliance.
* Must have experience working in a matrixed organization and managing cross-functional teams.
* Must have exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
* Aerospace and defense electronics or high-speed factory experience is preferred. Job Duties/Functions
* Will perform leadership of transition projects from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.
* Will perform collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure alignment of manufacturing capabilities with program requirements.
* Will perform development and maintenance of project schedules and daily execution reporting to Operations and Program Leadership.
* Will perform facilitation of Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality participation in design development to address manufacturability, testability, and inspectability issues.
* Will perform a review of technical designs with Design for Manufacturing input from Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams.
* Will participate in customer meetings and design reviews as the Operations lead.
* Will perform implementation of operating philosophies, business strategies, and best practices across the organization.
* Will perform site visits to other manufacturing locations to review and incorporate best practices.
* Will perform development and monitoring of success metrics to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Will perform support for continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, including Lean and operational excellence practices.
