Treasury Supervisor
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to support the Treasury department in its every-day operations, processing payments, working with banking and internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Operational payment processing
- Trade finance and guarantees – work closely with the Junior Manager and the other supervisors to enable transparent workflow for guarantee processing and reports for restricted cash.
- Daily refunds process management – execution of daily BTP refunds
- Improve monitoring on system issues related to operational errors – transaction and statement monitoring or recurring ERP issues
- Daily statements download management – ensure process update to Junior Manager and work out a sustainable process for automated processing for small banks
- Incoming requests mailbox management
- Act as a support for Payment journal processing
- Provide advice on Treasury matters to business units
- Support the team in relation to audit requests and compliance-related tasks
- Support the team in various projects, aiming to improve operational efficiency
Experience
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment is an advantage
- Experience in treasury operations is an advantage
Hard skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of payment systems and single bank platforms is preferable but not essential
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Language
- Proficient in written and spoken English
