Summary and Objective
The Vice President of AOG Mobile Service Units is a senior leader responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and expansion of the company’s mobile maintenance response network within a FAA Part 145 MRO environment. This role ensures rapid, compliant, and cost-effective field response to AOG events while upholding the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The VP serves as a key member of the MRO Senior Leadership Team, overseeing 24/7 mobile response operations, workforce planning, technical capabilities, logistics coordination, and P&L performance for all mobile units supporting flyExclusives Part 135 operations and external customers.

Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute long-term strategy for AOG Mobile Service Units aligned with MRO’s growth objectives.
• Expand nationwide mobile response capabilities, including new base locations, state and FOB authorizations, and strategic partnerships.
• Identify spanet trends and customer demands to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning.
• Lead capital planning for mobile assets, tooling, support equipment, and technology investments.
Operational Excellence
• Oversee 24/7 AOG response operations ensuring rapid dispatch, effective troubleshooting, and efficient return-to-service.
• Establish and maintain KPIs including response time, dispatch reliability, on-time return-to-service, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective coordination between flyExclusive Part 135 or customer’s maintenance control, MSU dispatch, quality, and supply chain teams.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
• Ensure full compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations and other applicable authorities.
• Maintain strict adherence to company RSQCM procedures and Safety Management System (SMS).
• Oversee audit readiness and corrective action processes related to mobile operations.
• Champion a safety-first culture across all mobile teams.
Financial & P&L Accountability
• P&L responsibility for the AOG Mobile Services division.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Optimize pricing strategies for AOG events, service contracts, and deployments.• Improve margin performance through operational efficiencies and resource optimization.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead a team of MSU Dispatchers, mobile team leads, and field technicians.
• Drive workforce planning to ensure proper coverage across time zones and aircraft platforms.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development programs for mobile technicians.
• Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, technical excellence, and customer responsiveness.
Customer & Commercial Engagement
• Serve as the senior leader point-of-contact for flyExclusive Part 135, Part 135 operators, and Part 91 operators during critical AOG events.
• Support Business Development in contract negotiations and major account strategy.
• Participate in industry events and represent the company in customer and regulatory forums.
• Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and performance guarantees where applicable.
Technology & Innovation
• Implement world class systems, real-time tracking tools, and mobile reporting solutions.
• Leverage predictive analytics and reliability data to reduce repeat AOG events.
• Drive modernization of mobile service platforms and tooling capabilities.

• Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools minimally.

Required education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Minimum 10+ years of aviation maintenance experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership within a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
• Extensive AOG operational management experience.
• Proven P&L management responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel on short notice.
Preferred
• Master’s degree
• Experience managing multi-aircraft fleet support programs.
• Prior leadership of mobile or remote field service teams.• Experience supporting top 15 Part 135 operators AOG Mobile Service networks.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or operational excellence background.
