The Vice President / General Manager serves as the senior executive responsible for the performance, culture, and long-term strategic direction of a major MRO site. This role holds full accountability for operational excellence, financial results, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the development of a high-performing, safety-driven organization.
You will be essential to many functions including:
- Lead and execute the site’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise growth goals and continuously improving operational performance.
- Drive profitable growth through disciplined P&L management, operational efficiency, commercial execution, and margin expansion.
- Champion a world-class safety and quality culture, ensuring a safe and thriving operation that complies with all regulatory requirements and adherence to industry best practices.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing senior leadership team across operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, program management, finance, and HR.
- Strengthen customer relationships and deliver exceptional service which meets or exceeds service standards
- Advance operational capability through facility modernization, capacity planning, and investment in people, processes, and technology.
- Ensure staffing ratios are appropriately balanced and organized to achieve the company’s strategy
- Build and nurture a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement that aligns with the company’s vision, mission and values
- Represent the company with airport authorities, community stakeholders, and industry partners.
