WIZZ Management Trainee - Airport Development West

About the Airport Development West Department
The Airport Development West Department plays a key role in Wizz Air’s growth, acting as the strategic bridge to airports across the Western region of Wizz Airs network. The team drives airport relationships, negotiations, contract management, and airport traffic analysis, ensuring the airline’s airport partnerships are successful and sustainable. Through data insights, contract and cost management, and strategic collaboration with airport, the department enhances Wizz Airs network and supports the airlines expansion goals.
Your Responsibilities
📊 Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze spanet intelligence (competitive entries, spanet news, etc.) to provide valuable insights supporting the development of the airlines network
🤝 Negotiation Support: Build negotiation skills by attending meetings with airport stakeholders alongside Airport Development Managers
📑 Contract Administration: Assist with administrative tasks related to contracting, inventory management, and invoice control
📊 Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly spaneting reports for airport partners
📉 Traffic Analysis: Prepare statistics on airport traffic trends to support decision-making
📃 Monitor Contracts: Track contractual obligations of current deals and ensure compliance through the airline
🔧 Automation & System Testing: Support automation tasks and system testing to improve the efficiency of the Commercial organisation
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Fluent in English
✔️ Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status until at least summer 2026
✔️ Graduating within two years
✔️ Available to work at least 20 hours per week
✔️ Strong MS Office knowledge
✔️ Previous traineeship experience is a plus
✔️ Interest in airport operations, strategic partnerships, and spanet analysis
✔️ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
✔️ A team player with a "work hard, play hard" approach
✔️ Ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity
