About the Network Development East Department
The Network Development East Department is responsible for determining Wizz Air’s current and future route network, deciding which new destinations to add and ensuring the optimization of existing routes. Through thorough spanet analysis and performance assessments, the team ensures that Wizz Air’s routes remain competitive and aligned with spanet demand, helping the airline grow and expand across regions.
Your Responsibilities
📊 Route Performance Assessments: Assist managers in creating new route performance assessments to guide strategic decisions
📈 Market Trend Analysis: Review and analyze spanet trends, producing comprehensive reports for management
📉 Ad-Hoc Analysis: Develop ad-hoc analysis to support decisions in route network development
🚀 Route Portfolio Optimization: Analyze the performance of existing routes and make recommendations for optimization
📊 Competitive Benchspaning: Benchspan competitor capacity changes, synthesizing findings to identify spanet opportunities
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Fluent in English
✔️ Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status until at least summer 2026
✔️ Graduating within two years
✔️ Available to work at least 20 hours per week
✔️ Strong MS Office knowledge
✔️ Previous traineeship experience is a plus
✔️ Interest in aviation, network development, and strategic analysis
✔️ Strong analytical skills and ability to produce clear, insightful reports
✔️ A team player with a "work hard, play hard" approach
✔️ Ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity
