Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $32.17-$36.61/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) system to support product enhancements, repairs, and new developments.
Ensure configuration identification by reviewing and validating design release documentation.
Facilitate Change Control Boards (CCBs), drive approval workflows, and adjudicate stakeholder comments.
Conduct Configuration Management (CM) audits to validate compliance with internal and DoD standards.
Manage multiple configuration baselines, including product and allocated baselines.
Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to maintain process discipline.
Assess and improve CM policies, procedures, and service effectiveness.
Utilize PDM systems, Jira, and MS Office Suite to manage and track changes.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience.
Experience in Configuration Management (CM) within both development and manufacturing environments.
Working knowledge of DoD and industry CM standards for hardware and software.
Hands-on experience with change control processes, including CCB facilitation and audit execution.
Ability to manage multiple baselines and document revisions in complex programs.
Proficiency in Product Data Management (PDM) tools, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle concurrent change activities.
On-site position based at either the Canonsburg or Charleroi, PA facility.
