Contract Position
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Perform moderately complex assembly, fabrication, and inspection tasks on electronic/mechanical assemblies such as modules, circuit boards, panels, frames, and cables.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings to execute production tasks accurately.
Conduct component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and rework using advanced manufacturing techniques.
Build and integrate hardware for prototypes, subassemblies, or systems in both production and pre-production environments.
Operate electrical/mechanical test equipment and perform routine to moderately complex testing of systems.
Complete process documentation and enter data into work order management systems.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in electronics or mechanical assembly.
Experience with J-STD-001 (including space addendum) preferred.
Proficient in using measurement and test equipment, reading technical documentation, and working with assembly software/systems.
Familiarity with work order management systems and basic computer tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
On-site work required; no remote options available.
