Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The employee will test and assemble Small Unmanned Aerial System products in our manufacturing facility, following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools, including some soldering.
- Conduct final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
- Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure that items built meet established high-quality standards.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.
- Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience with blueprints, schematics, or traveler documentation.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with a team of approximately 20 people. The program at this location is the Skyview program. The standard shift is Monday-Friday, 1st shift from 7 AM/8 AM to 4 PM, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off. Overtime availability is also offered.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leesburg, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
