Role Summary
* This position performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated processes in an on-site manufacturing environment. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Education and experience are typically acquired through a high school diploma or GED, and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as vocational school or an associate degree.
* The ability to work a variable shift, including first, second, or third shift.
* At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing and or fabrication.
* At least 1 year of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions and reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
* At least 1 year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and or other specialized computer applications. Preferred Skills
* You will have
* At least 1 year of aerospace experience. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
* Model a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership.
* Partner with Integrated Build Teams and a Team Leader to mitigate performance risk using Systematic Problem Solving methodologies.
* Identify roadblocks and production constraints and escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team using open and clear communication.
* Use KPI and BPS principles to improve production flow and the work environment.
* Support overtime as required to meet customer commitments.
* Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems and 5S activities.
* Support teammates to improve overall team performance through cross-training and mentoring. Physical Requirements

* Meet the physical demands of the role, including flexion and extension of the head and neck, handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, rotation of the head and neck, standing, twisting at the waist, walking, climbing, and balancing on stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, and inclined surfaces, crawling, and crouching or squatting.
* Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.
* Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials.
