Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools. You will be expected to model a culture of teamwork, pride, and ownership while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high production standards. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have education or experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., vocational school/Associate).
* Must have the ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications.
* Must have the ability to meet physical demands of the role, including bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
* Must have the ability to handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
* Must have regular and predictable attendance.
* Must successfully complete on-the-job training or formal classroom training as required. Preferred Skills
* You will have at least 1 year of aerospace experience. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be performing routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
* You will be modeling a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership.
* You will be partnering with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to mitigate performance risks utilizing Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies.
* You will be identifying roadblocks and production constraints, escalating issues that cannot be resolved by the team through open and clear communication.
* You will be using KPI and BPS principles to improve production flow and the work environment.
* You will be supporting overtime as required to meet customer commitments.
* You will be participating in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities.
* You will be supporting teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross-training and mentoring.
