Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform complex production assembly operations on aircraft, including structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, systems, and related equipment. You will use manual or automated assembly tools while following detailed engineering data and manufacturing planning. This position requires regular and predictable attendance, adherence to safety standards, and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have a minimum of 4 years of related aircraft assembly experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (such as vocational training or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of related work).
* Must have the ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
* Must be knowledgeable in aviation, mechanical, and structural assembly processes. Preferred Skills
* You will have strong knowledge of assembly and production processes for aviation structures and systems.
* You will have proficiency with specialized tools such as sheet metal brakes, pneumatic rivet squeezers, crimpers, and multimeters.
* You will have familiarity with composite and metallic manufacturing capabilities.
* You will have an understanding of general shop processes, including FOD prevention, material handling, calibration, safety procedures, and ESD control.
* You will have strong adaptability and teamwork skills, with a willingness to support changing work tasks and environments.
* You will have a high level of accountability, responsibility, and commitment to quality. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be performing bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural components and systems on aircraft per engineering data and manufacturing planning.
* You will be executing functional tests and operational checks of mechanical components and systems, documenting results per established procedures.
* You will be troubleshooting and correcting discrepancies using authorized technical data such as drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* You will be following manufacturing planning, work instructions, and technical documentation to assemble, install, or replace aircraft components and associated hardware.
* You will be maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work area while adhering to all safety, tooling, and EHS requirements.
* You will be performing other duties as assigned to support production and delivery objectives.
