$20.00-$24.00/Hour

Responsibilities:
Perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly, including mechanical, harness, cable, and printed circuit board (PCB) sub-assemblies, typically working from models and/or engineering drawings.
Interpret drawings, Process Flow Instructions (PFIs), specifications, and verbal directions to build complex units and first articles with minimal or no documented process.
Conduct soldering and component installation to contract specifications using a wide range of tools and equipment.
Ensure high-quality output in accordance with standard practices, customer specifications, and continuous improvement goals for cost, schedule, and performance.
Support LEAN events, 5S/Six S activities, and cross-functional action teams for process improvements.
Apply independent judgment and experience to plan and complete tasks that are often non-routine, adapting procedures and tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of hands-on experience in soldering, electrical assembly, and wiring
Ability to work across all assembly stages, interpret detailed prints/specifications, and collaborate with Engineering on prototype builds
Preferred Qualifications:
IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) and IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies) certification preferred
J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) certification preferred
