Schedule: Monday to Friday 1st Shift 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.61-$18.00 per hour
About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support a surge of work in the aerospace manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to the build and installation of subassemblies for flight simulators—critical components that prepare pilots for real-world missions. Your craftsmanship and precision will directly impact safety, performance, and innovation in the aerospace industry.
What You’ll DoRead, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
Perform mechanical assembly for flight simulators, including subassemblies and installations.
Use basic hand tools, drills, measuring equipment, and light machinery.
Conduct quality checks, identify defects, and complete rework or repairs to meet engineering specifications.
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling.
Maintain accurate workstation inventory and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform finishing tasks such as molding, sanding, or cutting acrylic.
Work onsite daily, with occasional travel (up to 15 annually) for projects of up to one month.
Adhere to strict safety and quality standards at all times.
What You BringRequired Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Proficiency with basic hand tools, drills, and measuring devices.
Ability to climb up to 6 feet and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Willingness to work 100 onsite and travel up to 15 as needed.
Must provide your own steel-toed boots.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced mechanical skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
Aerospace or manufacturing background.

Pay Details: $17.61 to $18.00 per hour
