Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The assembler role involves fabricating and assembling a variety of different assemblies and supporting hardware. This position requires applying knowledge of assembly techniques and using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods, sequence of operations, and dimensional and finish specifications. Additionally, you are expected to maintain accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and calibrate production parts.
- Locate and interpret assembly drawings, ATPs, specifications, and work instructions for requirements.
- Complete necessary paperwork including travelers, pull sheets, and forms for shipments.
- Lift materials (30 lbs. minimum) and test manifolds.
- Mix ingredients, primers, adhesives, and sealants according to specifications.
- Trim, drill, ream, grind, sand, and finish parts using templates and hand tools as required.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements, including shipping details.
- Meet customer and company goals of quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Utilize E10 transactions and job-related dashboards, including part and job tracker.
- Assemble multiple products in a cell or across multiple lines as evidenced by training matrix.
- Inspect all final products to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Assist the team in evaluating trends of labor standards, costs, and process improvements.
- Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete all required training and adhere to safety protocols, including PPE usage.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of manufacturing assembly experience required; 3+ years preferred in a regulated industry such as aerospace.
- Ability to meet deadlines and plan accordingly.
- Strong technical and mechanical ability.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Team and individually goal-oriented.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required.
- Must take medical exams required by law.
- May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.

Work Environment
The work environment includes first shift hours from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 am to 10:00 am on Friday. The role involves gauge assembly and small part assembly, requiring attention to detail and basic computer skills. Reading and interpreting templates is essential. Safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment must be adhered to.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
