Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:  

1.    Operating Hydraulic Presses2.    Operating and performing welding duties3.    Assembly of units4.    Testing units5.    Putting on paint caps6.    Other various assembly jobs7.    Flexing from one workstation is required for continuous throughput8.    Able to identify defects9.    Track and enter scrap into MSS10.    How to complete the hour-by-hour board11.    Read and understand a traveler12.    Cross train in other departments13.    Supports 5s and safe work practices14.    Participate in High Performance Teams15.    Able to train other team members16.    Able to work in a team environment

Physical Demands:•    Stand for a minimum of 8 - 10 hours a day•    Frequent walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs•    Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move up to 50 lbs•    Able to identify, pick up small parts for assembly/pack product•    Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus 

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, 1 year manufacturing experience, and/or combination of education or experience
