Hiring Experienced Assembly TechniciansEarly Morning Shift Precision Manufacturing Environment
Work Schedule- Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime:
- Typically 5–10 hours per week
- Up to two Saturdays per month
- Primarily voluntary; occasionally required based on business needs
Compensation- Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $26.00
- Compensation is commensurate with experience, skill level, and demonstrated competency.
Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting precision products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and approved procedures. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and bills of material (BOMs).
- Utilize EPS/PPP tools and verify that all tooling and measuring equipment are properly calibrated.
- Assemble products according to prints, specifications, and approved work instructions.
- Safely operate manufacturing equipment, including drill presses, lathes, mills, sanders, and die cutters.
- Perform in‑process inspections and route assemblies to Quality as required.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, complete necessary rework, and escalate complex problems to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct product testing per documented procedures; accurately record results and resolve failures through rework or troubleshooting.
- Sign off on completed assembly and testing steps and maintain accurate time and job tracking records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following Foreign Object Detection (FOD) best practices.
- Follow all safety protocols and consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Skills & Qualifications- Previous mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Proficiency with a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a clear understanding of component and assembly requirements.
Preferred Qualifications- Willingness to collaborate with leadership to create and follow an individualized development plan.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying opportunities for process, quality, or efficiency improvements.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
- Ability to communicate issues related to safety, quality, delivery, or cost in a timely and professional manner.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
