Summary:
Set up, operate, and inspect parts on conventional and CNC machines to support timely production of quality components
Work from engineering drawings, process specifications, quality requirements, and established procedures
Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operations as required
Manufacture parts and assemblies using CNC and conventional equipment while ensuring product and process quality
Perform secondary operations including deburring, milling, drilling, boring, honing, grinding, and fastening
Conduct routine minor machine maintenance (filters, lubrication, coolant levels, light bulbs, etc.) as part of TPM activities
Move products within the manufacturing area using assigned equipment and complete required transactions
Support continuous production flow by training and assisting peers
Cross-train in inspection and achieve SIA qualification
Independently set up and operate CNC and conventional multi-axis equipment for complex and precision machining
Perform advanced machining operations including milling, precision boring, turning, threading, grinding, and contouring
Verify part dimensions using mechanical and electronic measurement tools
Maintain required certifications and perform full inspections, including first article inspections
Document non-conforming conditions for Material Review Board (MRB) review
Perform process surveillance to ensure compliance with requirements
Prepare and maintain quality records
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of multi-axis CNC machining experience
Ability and willingness to work any shift, including alternative work schedules (most new hires on 2nd shift)
No pre-employment testing required
On-the-job training provided for contractors
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
