Hiring CNC MachinistsJoin a company that is on its way to building one of the first commercial airplanes/jets using modern day equipment. They are looking to expand their brand here locally and all over the world. This company is making everything in house and is more of a job-shop/prototype environment. This can be a long term role depending on performance.
PAY: $40-50hr DOE
LOCATION: Centennial
SHIFT:
1st SHIFT
*can work up to 10hrs/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- +5 years of CNC machine set up, operation, edits, adjustments, change out tooling, etc
- Experience working with 5 axis machines
- Comfortable working with tight tolerances (tenths)
- Able to read blueprints, g and m codes, and GD&T
- Experience with quality control using micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc
- GED/HSD
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machines to produce high-precision aerospace parts
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to meet exacting specifications
- Program and edit G-code/M-code to optimize machining performance
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and engineers
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
