Aerotek Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Prefab Technician / CNC Machinist with strong experience in programming and operating 5-axis / 6-axis waterjet, plasma table, or direct shape cutter experience within a job shop environment. This role involves working with advanced machinery to cut structural members like beams, channels, and box sections,

Pay Rates

$35.00 - $45.00 an hour based on experience.

Per Diem: Qualified Candidates will receive and additional $125.00 a day in Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Program and operate 6-axis Beamcut Machine
• Utilize CNC programming skills to effectively manage machine operations.
• Cut structural members such as beams, channels, and box sections with precision.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate cutting and shaping.
• Operate a machine that functions as a large robot arm equipped with a plasma torch.

• Expert Experience in CNC programming and operation.
• Proficiency in operating and programming 5-axis / 6-axis waterjet, plasma table or Beamcut machines OR Direct Shape Cutter experience
• Ability to interpret and utilize blueprints for machine operations.
• Candidates must be self starters with great problem solving skills and team first attitude.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cocoa, Florida.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
