Cable Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

Pay Range: $18-25

Candidates must pass a medical exam / physical

Open to US Citizens & US Permeant Residents

2nd Shift: Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM-2:00 AM with OT available on the weekends

THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.

SUMMARY:

While good Cable Assembly experience and or IPC-WHMA-A-620 is preferred it is not required.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Cable Harness - Not Required - only Preferred
IPC-WHMA-A-620 - Not Required - only Preferred
Mechanical Aptitude- Not Required - only Preferred
Punch Staking or Heat Staking - Not Required - only Preferred
Stripping and Crimping Wires - Not Required - only Preferred
