Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will provide detailed in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, utilizing technical drawings, CAD models, and established processes to ensure conformance to design requirements. You will perform thorough product inspections on finished goods, including First Article Inspections and certified supplier document reviews. Documentation of production nonconformance in accordance with procedures and processes is essential, along with verifying compliance to applicable standards. Professionalism and timeliness are expected in the performance of daily activities, with effective communication regarding any quality issues needing resolution. The role requires handling multiple assignments concurrently while maintaining flexibility with the production schedule, and monitoring the use of calibrated measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform detailed product inspections on finished goods, including First Article Inspections.
- Document production nonconformance in accordance with procedures and processes.
- Verify compliance to applicable standards.
- Communicate quality issues needing resolution effectively to other personnel.
- Work on multiple assignments concurrently, maintaining flexibility to the production schedule.
- Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.
Essential Skills
- Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and visual inspections.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing and production standards in the aerospace industry.
- 3+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, aviation, military, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electrical systems, including testing and inspection using portable measuring devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical or engineering field.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean room setting, climate-controlled to maintain optimal working conditions. Employees will be required to wear full GMP attire, including a smock, hair net, and shoe covers.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
