We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining equipment with minimal supervision. The role involves preparing and operating CNC Lathes and CNC Mills, performing simple to complex setups, changing tools, and conducting programming edits while verifying changes through inspection methods. You will generate CNC programs using available CAM programming software, applying your knowledge of cutting feeds and speeds, and tool composition/application. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in all production areas is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all CNC machining equipment.
• Prepare and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills with minimal supervision.
• Perform simple to complex setups and tool changes.
• Conduct programming edits and verify changes through inspection methods.
• Generate CNC programs utilizing CAM programming software.
• Apply thorough knowledge of cutting feeds, speeds, and tool composition/application.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to the 5 Ss.

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and programming using CAM software.
• Experience with CAD software and MasterCAM.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and blueprints in English.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience for Level 2 CNC.
• 5 or more years of demonstrated experience for Level 3 CNC.
• Experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
• Aerospace experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This role involves working inside a facility in Phoenix on a weekend shift from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday through Sunday, with pay for 40 hours. The environment is designed to promote safety and efficiency, ensuring you have the resources needed for success.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $83200.00/yr.
