Responsible for assisting in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of composite and metal aircraft components. Duties include preparing molds, cutting materials to specification, and performing lay‑ups free of defects. Routinely routes, drills, trims, sands, and vacuum‑bags parts to blueprint requirements. Supports assembly using adhesives, rivets, and fasteners, and performs surface prep and painting using epoxy, urethane, and water‑based coatings.

Additional responsibilities include developing shop aids, checking material expirations, mixing resins, and maintaining quality standards and documentation. Ensures a clean, safe work environment and adheres to all company procedures and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, fabrication, or mechanical work
• Able to read/interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions
• Skilled with hand tools (cutters, knives, rollers, heat guns) and measuring devices (scales, calipers, protractors)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in loud environments; extended hours as needed
• May require respirator certification

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
