Electromechanical Technician – Avionics Assembly (Drones)📍 South San Francisco, CA 🕒 Full-Time 🛠 Intermediate Level

Join our dynamic team as an Electromechanical Technician, where youll play a key role in assembling and testing advanced avionics systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). What You’ll Do- Independently perform complex electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics, drawings, and written instructions.
- Assemble and test avionics components including PCBAs, cable harnesses, and integrated modules.
- Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques for composite materials.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to provide real-time feedback and resolve build issues.
- Follow detailed process instructions and strict safety protocols.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and meet aggressive project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the build process.
What You Bring- 2–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical PCBA assembly skills and soldering proficiency.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools (torque drivers, calipers, drills, etc.).
- Experience with cable and wire routing, enclosure integration, and waterproofing techniques.
- Familiarity with bonding composites and electronic potting processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and follow SOPs.
- Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proactive mindset.

Work Environment
Work at a facility located in South San Francisco as part of the Manufacturing team. The warehouse is divided into four areas: Front office, Nest (assembling the recovery system, launch system, and battery device), Vehicles (assembling the body of drones and composite work of the wing structure), and Logistics. Each team consists of 3 to 4 assemblers, plus a team lead.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
