The Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for performing precise assembly, potting, masking, and conformal coating applications on electronic units in a high-reliability environment. This role requires following detailed work instructions, travelers, and engineering changes, documenting all work accurately, inspecting both self-performed and prior work, and maintaining strict adherence to quality, ESD, safety, and housekeeping standards. The technician will interface with quality representatives, engineers, and team members, and may assist in training or supporting other employees as needed.

* A minimum of 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret BOMs, Work Instructions, Travelers, blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices, including engineering modifications and designs.
* Ability to work independently and also contribute as a team member.
* Compliant with divisional ethics and attendance policies.
* Able to follow written and oral instructions.
* U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Skills
* IPC-610 Certification Class III.
* J-STD-001 Certification. Job Duties & Functions
* Perform staking, masking, conformal coating, and adhesive/potting compound application to electronic units in accordance with documented processes and instructions.
* Perform necessary engineering changes, modifications, and repairs as directed.
* Use specialized hand tools, including torque screwdrivers, dispensing equipment, spray guns, and various masking techniques.
* Accurately generate detailed assembly records documenting actions taken and labor performed.
* Follow travelers depicting assembly sequences.
* Interface with quality representatives, manufacturing engineers, and customer representatives to ensure high-quality production.
* Visually inspect work performed by self and others.
* Maintain established quality standards, ESD procedures, housekeeping, and safe work environment requirements.
* Assist and train other employees as required.
* Use basic PC skills to access documentation and complete timesheets.
* Adhere to required EH&S recording, handling, and usage procedures.
