The Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Spare Engineering team is seeking an Experienced Level Manufacturing Engineer to support our team in Seal Beach, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform ME responsibilities (i.e. interpret drawings, 3D models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability & producibility of metal, plastic and composite parts)
- Building technical data packages for use by suppliers for fabrication
- Plan and perform engineering analysis work at the sub component level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and requirements
- Work closely with Team Leads to assist and mentor other team members
- Work with team members from various functions (e.g. design, stress, M&P, tooling, supplier management and procurement to support customer needs
- Work and coordinate with other engineering groups to ensure requirements are met
- Develop analytical process to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency
- Experience in plastic, metal, or/and composite manufacturing processes, policies and procedures
- Experience with handling tooling issues and design changes
- Being able to interpret and apply Industry/Company Standards & Processes
- Some tools to be familiar with are SAP, REDARS, PDM and other manufacturing industry engineering tools
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Able to support 2nd and/or 3rd shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in commercial aircraft environment
- 5+ years of experience in Production or Spares

Experienced-Level Summary Pay Range: $111,350 to $150,650
