About the RoleAs a Pipe Fabrication Machine Operator, youll play a critical role in preparing, fabricating, and processing pipe products that support essential infrastructure projects across the country. Youll work hands-on with specialized fabrication equipment while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Assignment Type: Full-Time Long-Term Direct Hire Potential
Work Environment: Non-climate-controlled fabrication facility; temperatures may become hot during warmer months.
What Youll DoOperate and maintain pipe fabrication equipment, including:
Move, sort, and organize loose or bundled pipe ranging from ½" to 10" in diameter.
Assemble customer pipe orders and prepare products for shipment.
Measure, record, and verify pipe lengths using tape measures and quality gauges.
Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and fabricate pipe to specifications.
Perform quality inspections to ensure accurate fabrication.
Operate powered industrial equipment and forklifts safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required and must be listed on resume).
6–8 months of recent experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance, or industrial environment.
Experience with equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, automatic welding machines, plasma cutters, roll groove machines, or similar machinery.
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
Experience using gauges and measurement tools for quality inspections.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift, move, sort, and shift pipe materials safely.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Basic computer skills for operating automated equipment.
Ability to pass a Forklift Assessment.
