Responsibilities:
- Apply manufacturing techniques to build high-quality aerospace components from detailed specifications and technical drawings.
- Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly of metal and composite structures
- Assemble mechanical, electro-mechanical, and avionics components and wire harnesses
- Execute chemical conversion, paint preparation, and apply coatings to meet corrosion protection and finish standards
- Follow established engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Work with moderate-complexity parts and assemblies in a safety-focused, lean-driven production environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as required
- Physically able to climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 lbs regularly
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing; or equivalent training
- Familiarity with Lean Principles (Standard Work, 5S, Continuous Improvement)
- Exposure to quality systems and manufacturing performance metrics
