Responsibilities:
- Perform composite lay-up and assembly tasks using both automated lay-up machines and hand-lay-up methods.
- Set up and operate NC (Numerical Control) equipment and motorized fabrication tools to produce aerospace components.
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and non-conformance dispositions to ensure accurate builds.
- Fabricate and assemble parts using pre-manufactured composite materials and approved tooling standards.
- Select and prepare parts, tools, hardware, and materials in accordance with production plans.
- Document and report defects in materials, workmanship, or procedures following Boeing standards.
- Prepare and fabricate test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for testing.
- Conduct basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation; apply corrosion-resistant coatings.
- Ensure strict adherence to FOD control, workplace cleanliness, and Boeing safety protocols.
- Operate at heights using JLG lifts and coordinate with team members across shifts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1+ years of related composite fabrication experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation or assembly experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprint drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights; use of JLG lift required.
- Must adhere to 100 PPE compliance, including respirators, safety harnesses, and eye protection.
