PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to find skilled Fabrication Specialists who are passionate about hands-on work and high-quality craftsmanship. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building and assembling aerospace structures that support cutting-edge aviation and space programs. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow complex drawings will directly impact products that take flight around the world.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Fabrication Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision and quality matter:
Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks
Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products
Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance
Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and production requirements
Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Required Qualifications
Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Comfortable working with hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints and production orders
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
Experience working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
Familiarity with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5S)

Pay Details: $22.54 per hour
