Job Title: CNC Mill Operator - 3rd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, with hours from 12 am to 7 am, and an option to start at 11 pm to achieve a 40-hour workweek. The role involves manufacturing quality products using CNC machining centers, changing materials and tools as necessary, inspecting products with appropriate tools, and ensuring production efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret internal and customer-provided engineering drawings and setup documents.
- Efficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Make adjustments to setups and processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Determine cutting tool needs and replacements without product loss.
- Utilize grinding and cutting tools such as air grinders, drill presses, manual mills, saws, and burr tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5-S techniques.
- Determine when to halt production due to quality or safety issues.
- Document shop loss procedures according to company guidelines.
- Accurately clock in/out and manage shop orders using the company MRP system.
- Use adequate lifting equipment to prevent personal injury.
- Maintain awareness of all safety-related MSDS information.
- Follow company procedures for extinguishing flammable materials.
- Ensure proper machinery use when handling excessive weight.
- Participate in all safety trainings and meetings.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor or manager.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of CNC machining in commercial or aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience with G and M codes and their functions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of CNC .
- Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machining.
- Mazak experience is required.
- Knowledge of Makino MAGS, Lathe, and Toyota cells.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled shop floor with exposure to water-soluble coolants and loud noises. Required to wear steel toe boots. Utilize technologies such as Lathe, Mill, Calipers, Micrometers, Fanuc, CNC setup, Mazak, Mazatrol, and 5-axis machining on mills.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
