CNC Machining Supervisor | Aerospace Manufacturing

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

A growing, family-owned aerospace manufacturer in St. Peters, MO is seeking a CNC Machining Supervisor to lead day shift machining operations in a high-mix, precision manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role — not a desk job. You will spend the majority of your time on the production floor leading machinists, solving problems, and driving output.

What You’ll Do
- Lead 20–30 machinists in a CNC production environment
- Maintain strong floor presence and support daily execution
- Drive throughput, quality, and schedule attainment
- Lead and develop leads and co-leads
- Use production metrics and KPIs to improve performance
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues in real time
- Partner with operations, engineering, and quality
- Support Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement
Machining Environment
- 5-Axis CNC Machining
- 9-Axis Integrex (Mill-Turn)
- Horizontal Mills
- Manual Machining
- Waterjet, Saw, Prep, and Deburr Operations
Required Qualifications
- Prior machining leadership experience (Supervisor / Lead)
- Strong hands-on CNC machining background
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Experience leading in a production machining environment
- Strong communication, coaching, and accountability skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing
- Experience with 5-axis, mill-turn (Integrex), horizontals
- Lean / continuous improvement experience
- Experience developing machinists and leads
Compensation
- Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
- Performance-based incentive plan (target ~10% of base salary)
