Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manual Machinist to operate manual lathes, Bridgeport’s, Hurco, and Okuma machines to repair and restore precision aircraft engine components. The machinist will ensure parts meet specifications using precision measuring tools and adhere to FAA quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and related equipment.
- Measure and inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
- Interpret OEM prints and technical data to perform accurate repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area while complying with FAA regulations.
- Support production schedules with quality and timely workmanship.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of machinist experience, preferably with manual machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in math skills.
- Proficiency with precision measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with manual machining, lathe, and grinding.
- Knowledge of drill press, shear, change over, and machine operation.
- Programming and machining skills.
- Experience with CAD/CAM, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.

The position is based in a machine shop and engine repair station, where you will work alongside skilled professionals in a supportive and safety-conscious environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
