Job Title: Manual Machinist

Pay: Up to $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist in Coatesville, PA to operate manual lathes, Bridgeport’s, Hurco, and Okuma machines. The role involves repairing and restoring precision aircraft engine components, ensuring parts meet specifications with precision measuring tools, and adhering to FAA quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and related equipment.
• Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Interpret OEM prints and technical data to perform accurate repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with FAA regulations.
• Support production schedules with quality and timely workmanship.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ machinist experience, preferably with manual machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting, mechanical operations, and manual machining.
• Familiarity with equipment like drill press, shear, and grinder.
• Knowledge of machine operation and programming.
• Experience with CAD/CAM, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.

Work Environment

This role is based in a machine shop and engine repair station, where you will work with advanced machining equipment in a structured setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
