* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 2+ years of experience in cable/harness manufacturing and/or electromechanical assembly as a manufacturing engineer
* 1 - 2 years of experience with the Assembly Process
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Tool and Die
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Mechanical Assembly
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Bill of Materials (BOM)
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Cable Harness
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Manufacturing Experience
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Manufacturing Process
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Problem Solving on Manufacturability Problems
* 1 - 2 years of experience with Tooling
* Ability to analyze electrical schematics and diagrams
* Ability to write assembly work instructions
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher
* Strong attention to detail in working with electrical and electromechanical assemblies
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with demonstrated ability to initiate and complete goals
* Ability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Less than 1 year of experience with the ability to write technical documents and end-user documentation
* Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes, Routings, Bills of Material) or a related manufacturing system
* Knowledge of design for manufacturing concepts and applications
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques, including experience generating and implementing process improvements
* Exposure to Electrical Engineering through experience or schooling, and familiarity with Zuken Job Duties & Functions
* Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, fabrication, and material handling
* Drive adoption of new technologies and processes, including automation and robotics, to improve efficiency, cost, and quality
* Create and analyze 3D model-based environments to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions
* Define operational procedures and build sequences using knowledge of materials and automated processes
* Evaluate equipment and tool performance, including IoT-enabled devices, to verify efficiency and identify corrective actions
* Develop and apply statistical process control methods using factory data to support continuous improvement
* Analyze and interpret electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages
* Create, update, and publish assembly work instructions for use on the production floor
* Identify and maintain tool lists required for efficient product assembly
* Investigate manufacturing issues and provide technical guidance to support production operators
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing failures and implement corrective actions
* Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
* Provide input to product design teams to improve manufacturability and process efficiency
* Work closely with subject matter experts to implement manufacturing improvements
