Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr - Level 3 for the Manufacturing Engineering team which is responsible for developing kit tooling that enables engineering changes on Flight Test and post‑delivery F‑35 aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr - Level 3 you will be responsible for creating and qualifying the tooling needed to execute structural modifications across all three F‑35 variants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform producibility analyses and develop tooling concepts for engineering change implementation.
- Design, review, and procure kit tools required for flight‑test and post‑delivery modifications.
- Create detailed usage instructions and installation guides for each modification.
- Provide periodic on‑site technical support at depot and operational locations to validate kit tooling before depot‑mod integration.
- Collaborate with flight‑test, depot, and engineering teams to ensure modifications address limited‑life issues effectively.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, related technical field considered.
- Experience working in an Operations role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance, the selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
