An organization within Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Sector, Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA) is a leading innovator in advanced microelectronics design and fabrication. MDA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This position is located at Baltimore, MD location.

Basic Qualifications:

• A degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with a minimum of 2 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering standards and practices.
• Understanding of many different manufacturing techniques, including but not limited to EDM, manual and CNC milling and turning, sheet metal processing, and 3D printing.
• Demonstrated experience writing documentation on processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience providing feedback on design and assembly of systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively to team members on technical and non-technical subjects both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance per customers requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Experience with cross-functional team leadership.
• Experience working in a lab environment. 
• Active US Government security clearance per customers requirements

Salary Range: $77,600.00 - $121,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
