Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:

Duration: 12+ months contract
Pay Range: $65-75 - W2 hourly

Job Description:

Designs and develops manufacturing processes for products. Such design and development may include new or revised processes.
Develops procedures in cooperation with quality and production departments. Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation. Recommends tools and test equipment.
May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
Communicates with internal stakeholders and external customers to manage complex manufacturability issues from identification through resolution.
An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, conventional machining, and special processes such as brazing, heat treating, chemical processing and/or painting.
