The role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Ontic, youll play a crucial part in ensuring our Assy & Test operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll provide day-to-day mechanical and electronic engineering support, ensuring our teams have the right technical guidance and documentation to deliver high-quality products throughout the product lifecycle — from NPI through to retirement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, driving improvements, and supporting high-precision assemblies.
Providing technical support to production, MRO teams, suppliers, and customers.
Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, from introduction to retirement.
Producing high-quality technical documentation, reports, and work instructions.
Conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Troubleshooting non-conforming products and assemblies.
Delivering training to technicians and operators within Assembly & Test.
Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
Collaborating cross-functionally to drive improvements and resolve complex issues.

A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline.
Proven experience in a Production / Manufacturing Engineering role, ideally in aerospace.
Strong background supporting complex mechanical or electromechanical assembly processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to lead technical discussions and recommendations.
