THE WORK
•Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any material-related issues
•Review master production schedule to identify potential and actual material shortages
•Alert proper authorities of potential problems and take proactive measures to mitigate delays
•Provide progress reports on assigned programs or areas through maintaining accurate records of orders
•Expedite parts to different areas of the facility to maintain processes
•Report on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material movements, inventory levels, and production schedules. Be able to speak and present on items.
•Be open-minded and receptive to new ideas and perspectives, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and procedures
•Continuously seek ways to improve the material dispatch process, including suggesting innovative solutions and participating in process improvement initiatives

WHO YOU ARE
You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in cable inventory

• 1years of experience in customer service role or related role

• Knowledge in EPDM, Solumina or SAP tools

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

•Excellent communication and organizational skills

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

•Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, including Lockheed Martin Proprietary Information (LMPI)

•Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, including:

• Willingness to assist and support colleagues as needed.

• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders

• Commitment to achieving team goals and objectives

•Experience in a related industry (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, restaurant, etc.)

•Certification in material management or a related field

•Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management principles

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
