Join our growing team of Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineers solving supplied material issues impacting our factories. This on-site position will focus on resolution of nonconformance in supplied material ensuring root cause and corrective actions are completed. You will be a key player working with Operations, Quality, Program Management and Engineering to solve problems on our nation’s most advanced defense systems.
What You Will Do
• Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
• Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
• Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation, robust root-cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
• Determine quality requirement flow-downs for special process purchase orders originating from the factories.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
• High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
