Summary: Aerospace Manufacturing Technician fabricating and validating flight hardware and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
Job RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus advanced training
2+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment in a similar role
Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly and general shop fabrication
Ability to identify and report nonconformances to engineering and quality
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
Ability to work Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends and extended days to meet shipping deadlines
Ability to work the specified shift: Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical job functions (standing, walking, reaching, handling tools)
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations
Preferred SkillsAbility to read and work from diagrams, drawings, and detailed procedures
Experience operating electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment
Proficiency with hand and power tools (crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, air tools)
Experience working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coatings, and commonly used manufacturing chemicals
Ability to travel to local vendors and suppliers as required
Job ResponsibilitiesFabricate, assemble, and validate critical flight hardware and flight ground support equipment per drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training
Perform mechanical assembly and electrical assembly operations using approved work instructions and tooling
Assist engineers with prototype/flight hardware manufacturing, test infrastructure development, and documentation (assembly records, test procedures, related technical documents)
Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances to engineering and quality assurance for disposition
Coordinate with facilities and maintenance to ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired to support manufacturing schedules
Partner with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood and followed
Support schedule-driven builds, including overtime and occasional weekend work to meet shipping requirements
Pay: 30-33

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
