As a Manufacturing Technician 2 based in Mesa, AZ, you will perform essential manufacturing operations, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to pioneering projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly operations of gun systems in both team and individual settings.
• Perform manufacturing assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.
• Follow detailed operating procedures and accurately collect and record data.
• Operate industrial equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to ensure correct positioning during bonding operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and participate in team activities to enhance safety, quality, cost, and scheduling.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions with high attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly and mechanical assembly.
• Experience using hand tools.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 40 lbs.
• US Citizenship.
• Responsibility under the Safe Explosive Act as an employee possessor/responsible person.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical back ground.
• Experience reading prints.
• Experience with Costpoint / MES or similar programs.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work with no telecommuting options. You will work a 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Overtime and weekend work may be required occasionally. The work environment includes operating industrial equipment and requires adherence to safety procedures.m

This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
