We are seeking Manufacturing Training Coordinators to support and enhance training delivery across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering technical and operational training while improving training processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and effectiveness. This role will largely be responsible for ensuring successful onboarding of new hire employees through a two week training program. The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Health & Safety teams to support workforce competency and readiness.

What You Will Do:

  • Training Delivery: Coordinate and deliver training programs in areas including health and safety, precision mechanical assembly, manufacturing procedures, reading engineering drawings and blueprints, and other technical skills. Assess training needs and adapt delivery methods to ensure effective learning outcomes for employees at various skill levels.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current training processes and develop standardized procedures to ensure consistency across all training activities. Maintain training documentation, records, and compliance requirements in accordance with industry standards and regulations.  Develop, update, and standardize training materials (presentations, work instructions, job aids, assessments) on an as-required basis. 
  • Program Development: Collaborate with department leads and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and design training materials that address operational needs. Update training content as-required to reflect changes in processes, equipment, and regulatory requirement.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage training schedules to ensure all employees receive required training within established timelines. Track employee training records and certifications to maintain compliance.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Technical Training, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in training coordination or delivery, preferably in manufacturing
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with aerospace or defense industry quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as blueprint reading, soldering, optics handling, or precision assembly
  • Certification in training delivery or instructional design
  • Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) is an asset

The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program.
