Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Aerospace Mechanic – Customer Line (Level 2) to perform mechanical installation, adjustment, and removal activities on aerospace products and components at customer sites.
The objective of this role is to ensure compliant mechanical operations, support production and maintenance activities, and contribute to safe and efficient operations in a customer environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Read and interpret approved technical documentation (drawings, work instructions, and procedures).
- Prepare work activities: required qualifications, tools, parts, and installation elements based on documentation.
- Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of simple assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Ensure conformity of installed and adjusted components in accordance with the manufacturing or maintenance file.
- Ensure proper traceability of operations, tools, and parts used.
- Report progress, issues, and blocking points to the team leader or supervisor.
- Participate in operational meetings when required.
- Apply customer and internal procedures at all times.
- Respect safety rules, FOD prevention, PPE requirements, and environmental standards.
- Promote best practices and support continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements:
- Experience as an aerospace or mechanical technician.
- Knowledge of mechanical installation and adjustment techniques in an industrial or aerospace environment.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Knowledge of documentation and traceability requirements.
- Basic computer skills (internal systems and customer software).
- Technical English (reading and writing).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Autonomous in task execution while respecting customer standards.
- Comfortable working in a customer-line or production environment.
