Mechanical Assembly Technician – Drone ProductionHelp Build the Future of Delivery!

What You’ll Do- Perform complex mechanical assemblies using schematics, drawings, and detailed instructions.
- Assemble and test avionics components, including PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated modules.
- Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques for high-quality builds.
- Provide real-time feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve assembly challenges.
- Follow strict safety procedures and meet aggressive production deadlines.
- Accurately record and update production data.
What We’re Looking For- Experience: 2–3 years in mechanical or manufacturing assembly within a production environment.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in mechanical PCBA assembly
- Use of hand/power tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, drills, calipers)
- Basic soldering and cable/harness routing
- Ability to read SOPs, diagrams, and blueprints
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft).
Additional Qualities- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

Work Environment:
South San Francisco facility with four specialized areas:
- Nest: Recovery systems, launch systems, and battery devices
- Vehicles: Drone bodies and composite wing structures
- Logistics & Front Office: Supporting operations and assembly teams
Team Structure: Small, focused teams of 3–4 assemblers plus a team lead.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
