• Perform complex mechanical assemblies using schematics, drawings, and detailed instructions.
• Assemble and test avionics components, including PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated modules.
• Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques for high-quality builds.
• Provide real-time feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve assembly challenges.
• Follow strict safety procedures and meet aggressive production deadlines.
• Accurately record and update production data.

• Experience: 2–3 years in mechanical or manufacturing assembly within a production environment.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in mechanical PCBA assembly
  • Use of hand/power tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, drills, calipers)
  • Basic soldering and cable/harness routing
  • Ability to read SOPs, diagrams, and blueprints
• Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft).

Work Environment:

South San Francisco facility with four specialized areas:

• Nest: Recovery systems, launch systems, and battery devices
• Vehicles: Drone bodies and composite wing structures
• Logistics & Front Office: Supporting operations and assembly teams

Team Structure: Small, focused teams of 3–4 assemblers plus a team lead.

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
